New Table Saw Blade

A new table saw blade makes a world of difference, folks. It's such a pleasure, because you get to thinking your equipment is just lousy, and then pop on a new saw blade and it cuts walnut hardwood like butter.  I've made some progress on the table legs and side-bits (for lack of a better term). Basically, what's going on is that the legs are solid 1.5 inch (square) walnut, and I've attached them with one inch stock. Then I've glued on an extra piece to fill in the difference. The effect is that when you see it from the top or side, it will more or less appear to be 1.5 inches all the way around. Hard to explain - here's a picture.

I think it's still not obvious, but it will become clear eventually. The pieces are glued with standard woodglue and I've used pocket screws as well. Pocket screws? Yeah! They're awesome.

See? cool, huh. All that's left now is to give you some clamp porn

Next I'll start work on the tops, which actually consist of three independent layers of wood.
